Hi we have 16 baby chicks that are 2 weeks old and was wondering if anyone has,any feed back on when these chicks can go out to the coop? They are currently in a brooder box in our home but I think they would be happier outside. We live in Lake Elsinore, California.

As long as they are warm they will be fine.

x2 As long as you provide a warm spot for them, they really do love being outside. I have a heating pad in one corner of the coop where they can go to warm up when they need to.

Just a quick question though. Do you have adult chickens in the coop already? Then you would need to provide a safe space for your chicks to get away if the adults peck at them.
