I’m sure this has been asked a million times but I can’t find an answer that reflects my situation so I’ll go ahead and ask those more experienced. Newbie duck owner with 3 week old babies. It’s cooler than usual this time of year and my guys are getting big and messy fast. I’ve been putting them out in a covered pen during the day (highs in the 70s-80s) and bringing in to their brooder at night. It’s getting down to roughly 60 degrees at night still. At what point can these girls go into their secure and snug outside house instead of my basement!? Hubby made it like Fort Knox so not drafty, and I know they snuggle, but I don’t want them to get too chilled since they don’t have their adult feathers yet. Thoughts? Thanks!
