When can I move my chickens to the coop?

i have 3 week old Isa brown chicks! When can I move them to the coop?

Glad you joined!

It depends on what the outdoor temperature is, I put my chicks out as soon as 3 1/2 to 4 weeks, as long as it's above 40F out.

Generally chicks are moved out of the brooder once they are fully feathered about 6 weeks or so. You could move to the coop sooner if you have a heat lamp in there till they adjust to your weather. I'm thinking Michigan is probably still having cold days, as we are in Illinois.
