when should i take my 7 week old chicks out of the brooder

mine are out side in the coop 5 and 7 weeks

When they are fully feathered you can take them out of the brooder! (when outside temps are the same as brooder temps they can play outside too)

Mine went outside when they were 5-6 weeks and fully feathered. I'd say it also depends what the temp. is outside. At 6 weeks they should be comfortable at 70 degrees or so. Maybe less, but mine were 6 weeks mid-summer last year so I didn't have to worry as much about temp.
