When Can My Bobwhite Qauil Go Outside?

Hi, I have thirteen 4-5 week old bobwhite quail. Im wondering when they can go outside. during the day it's in the 70-80s, and at night in the 40s. theyre outside now, but I don't know if the nights are too cold. THANKS

If it were me, I'd wait till they were 6 to 8 weeks old to put them outside. At that stage they should be able to handle the cool temperatures, as long as there are no drafts blowing directly on them, if you have to put them outside now, I'd put a heat lamp with them at night.

thanks. yes, I did put a heat lamp out for them, pretty low because much of the heat is lost, and they went under it.
