I LOVE MY DUCKS!

Don't get me wrong if I did not they be kicked out long ago..LOL

They are my babies but they STINK so badly and they are as big as a CHIHUAHUA and they are only going on 3 weeks old.

Days have been almost in the 80's here so they have been going outside in a HUGE pet taxi in the days I bring them in at night.

THEY DON'T HAVE A FEATHER ON THEIR LITTLE HEADS???

They are getting some on their tail but no where eles maybe some underneath their bellies..

However I'd like to start on their coop & run because sadly due to dogs they will never be able to be unprotected.

So when should these little stinky monsters be able to go out for good?

Is that your stinky little duck in your avie? that looks exactly like my stinky little ducks! And BOY do they STINK!!! I can't wait for them to get a job and move out! Sorry I will be watching, I have no advice, but I DO feel your pain!

If you have a safe place where you can give them a heat lamp, put them out now!
Mine were out after abotu two weeks and evenings were dipping into the 50's.

I put them in the carport in their brooder. It was safe and easy to hose off the next day. They went into the big kid brooder in the yard at 4-5 weeks. They still had a light, but were on grass.

Yes thats one of my duckies WAY bigger now they are blue swedish and I have 1 Black.

I have no way of putting them with a heat lamp outside I can put them into a secure pen but no way to hook up a heat lamp.

They are newbies at just a week old though...still goin outside tomorrow under a lamp. I had to bring a couple chickens back inside, they can take their spot!
