When can they sucessfully breed?

I just have 4 peas and they are my first ones ever. 2 are almost 3months and the other 2 im not sure but maybe a month. But anyways i no it take 3 yrs for the train on male but when is the earliest time they could have fertile eggs. I want to no because for now they are with guineas chickens silkies and ducks and im guessing their eggs are similair to silkie or guinea an if i do get a egg i dont want to pass it up.

Most people agree it's not earlier than 2 years. There have been rare cases of someone saying "my one year old produced fertile eggs!" but it's extremely atypical. If you don't intend to eat the eggs, it can't hurt to toss ANY you get into the incubator just to see.

Your peahens will probably not lay eggs until they are at least two years old. When they do, you will not mistake them for chicken or guinea eggs. They are larger than either of those two. We have two pens of peafowl and bought all of them as adults. We bought them late this summer so we thought that we would miss this breeding season. Believe it or not, we have been collecting eggs from both pens and setting them under chicken hens. So far all of the eggs have been fertile, but I feel sure that the season is almost over here in East Texas. The Purple male has pretty much dropped his train, but the IB is still holding his.
