We are raising an assortment of chicks up right now for our small backyard flock. I have noticed that many of them that are on their three week mark don't have feathering that looks like what the final adult pattern and color should look like. I am really noticing this on the light brahma, speckled sussex and the blue laced red wyandottes. Do they start out with baby feathering that changes into adult feathering a little later?
