When do chicks not need electrolytes/probiotics ?

Oh and one more question i love to use diatomaceous earth to help with the worms, will that be ok when the chicks join the flock at 5 to 6 weeks of age for it to be in their food.. i don’t think it will hurt. I will definitely use less but I just want to know what you think and your opinion about it!
I don't think a little DE will hurt but I also don't think it will be beneficial. Meaning, it's not an alternative to Corid if you suspect Coccidiosis. 5-6 weeks is when I treat with Corid.

When DE becomes wet it turns to mush. So once it enters a chicken's digestive system it's no more useful than wet shredded paper. There's no proof it does any good dry, either.
