When do ducklings start feathering out?

I ordered ducklings and silky chicks from Ideal, which were delivered on the 14th. The silkies and the packing peanut roosters are all developing wing and back feathers, but my ducklings are still fuzzy. When do they start to get mature feathers?

Also, I ordered my ducklings straight run. One duckling is obviously darker than the others, even now. Are khaki campbell male ducklings any different in color from females, or do I just have a duck who thinks it's unique?

They should start getting some feathers pretty soon. Khakis will all be brown until about 3 months, then you will start seeing the males head turn green. Look at my website and you'll see a post under ducks called "Talking Heads". That will give you an idea of the change. Good luck!
