Hello!
This is my first batch hatching. I had 7 shipped eggs. 4 have hatched nicely and are in a brooder now. Of the other three, one has a hole in it of about the size of two dimes that hasn’t progressed since 8 AM (16 hours). The other has a pip in it of about half an inch and that has not progressed either.
My concern is that the other four moved the unhatched eggs around a bit. Not sure if that caused any problem or distress. The first of the batch hatched yesterday morning or about 36 hours ago.
Should I intervene?

I would if they started to zip and just have a big whole with no progress. Sometimes it works out. Go for it, but if you see blood stop and try again later.

I don’t they know if you are supposed to intervene. I am not an expert on incubating and hatching eggs. I don’t think you’re supposed to help but wait for others to reply. Don’t take my word!
