When do I intervene?!

Hi!! Here is a video and picture of my ducklings external pip. I have been seeing some cracking there for about 36 hours now, mostly just lighter cracking until this morning. This is the farthest he has gotten this morning. Does the membrane look dry? I do see bruising or graying at the top of the shell, I read something about that. Can you tell me your thoughts and if so far so good and I just wait?? Thanks!!

The membrane looks dry to me. If it were mine I'd widen the hole with a pair of tweezers to the size of dime (No further) and let the duckling be for a few more hours.
