When do I need to feed my Golden Comets layer feed

I have six golden comet pullets who are about ten weeks old. I know that they begin to lay eggs at around sixteen weeks, so I know that they need to start eating layer feed (witch calcium) earlier than other birds, but what age is it not too early? Thanks a heap!

I personally wouldn’t feed it any sooner than 16 weeks! Average is 20 weeks.

I'd due 20 weeks, but if it's a high protein layer, they will be ok to start earlier. 18% or higher is good.

I start at 16 weeks. My first hen laid at four months and my last one laid at six the laying age varies per bird but I 18 is the latest I would go.
