When do I start introducing new foods to my chicks?

My chicks are 8 days old and they turn their beaks up to everything I give them. All they like is the crumbles. When do they start liking different foods???

well i started offering mine new foods yesterday and the youngest are a week old tomorrow, the older ones are 2 weeks old tomorrow..
i found i just had to leave the food in there, there always a little afraid of new things at first but as soon as one tries it thats it there all good to go, i found they wernt interested though untill i left them with it...

so far weve found out they love grit and crackers, not a big fan of potatoe skins and like grass and bean sprouts.
