When do my Chicks get grit.

Chicks are four weeks old now. I have been mixing a little in with there food, since I give them treats and let them into the run. When do they get a seperate hopper with just grit in it?

You can give them a dish of grit at any time. They will take just what they need.

I put a dish of grit with my one week old's and they take it fine. I even take it and 'seed' it around their brooder so they get to 'hunt' for it. They enjoy that
