My momma hen hatched out her clutch 9weeks ago. She's an amazing momma and her babies are still with her.
When should she start laying again? These babies are fully feathered, good size, don't really need momma anymore....idk what her deal is

There is no set answer to that. I had one, an EE, start laying about 2-1/2 weeks after her chicks hatched. She was my only hen that laid green eggs, there was no doubt it was her. As you see, some go a lot longer than that. I've had a broody hen molt when she was raising chicks in late summer, she went through the molt before she started again. She started laying in late September when the rest started molting.

There is no way to know when your hen will start laying again. In Washington this time if year I'd expect her to start pretty soon after she weans her chicks, but I can't give any guarantees.
