All three of these breeds are rather slow to mature and will normally lay at 8 months to one year of age depending on when they were hatched. If they were hatched early in the year say January then they may start laying a little sooner but only a few weeks. With these three breeds I would say patience is the key ingredient needed. They tend to feather slowly, grow slowly and come into lay slowly, hence they are for the patient person but the enjoyment of seeing them reach maturity is something that only the breeder of these breeds can truly relish.
