When do turkeys start laying and hatching?

I've got a few turkeys... wound up down to 2, that I thought were toms, turns out they're hens, so my neighbor gave me a tom to put with them... he said none of his are laying yet... I know my girls are at least 5-6 months old, and the tom is probably a little older than that... neighbor said he hasn't seen any eggs in their coop at his house, and I haven't seen any from mine...

So, when do they start laying? And when might they start hatching? Do they only hatch in spring?

You might get some strays here and there, but they'll get serious come spring.
