OK, so i have searched the threads high and low for what i should be doing to save the life of my sick little chick whisker. I began to notice a real size difference in her when compared to the other chicks. Even the runt now surpasses her in size. Right after that, i noticed shewass not eating or drinking on her own and just sits with her head down and wings drooped under the lamp. She has a clean butt....But she does have lime green poop, much like others have reported.
HERE IS WHAT I'VE DONE THUS FAR...

Removed her form the rest of the flock and put her in a box with her own light, food water etc.
I have force fed her some cooked oats, and also drops of honeyed water.

Her crop is full and she even regurgitated some after a feeding.

My question is on frequency of feeding and how much. I fed her an hour ago, and am still feeling her crop full.

Please help me.... Of course this had to be the chick that was the most lovey. She adored snuggling and cozying up to out necks.

Aww, I am so sorry for your loss. You tried your best but sometimes these things are beyond our control.

I agree...I've been in that situation a few times...and never been able to save one in that situation.

You did all you could.....I'm sorry.

Thanks for your kind words! I appreciate it. Happy to report that the rest of the flock is doing great, fully ( or mostly) feathered, and as much as we have enjoyed them in the house... its time for them to head out!
