When is breeding season and where are you located?

I'm in the Texas panhandle and one neighbor had a male with a train until September and another neighbor who has free range birds says hers lost all their feathers in early August last season.

Peafowl do not breed year-round.

Mine lose their trains between late July and late September. They usually start laying eggs in April and lay through September, though every now and then I get one laying October, November, and December, but that is rare.

Located in the upper midwest. I start getting eggs about halfway through May and trains start falling off in early september.
