when is food to old for baby chicks to eat?

I got some gamebird starter at TSC on april 13, I have not used any of it and it is still in the bag can I use it for my pheasant (which are coming may 20th). Thanks.

As long as it was kept in a nice dry place it is fine. Feed away.

If it smells rancid, dont feed it.

You should be fine for a couple months.
