when is it ok to give up on an egg?

My egg got put in the fridge for 5 or 6 hours but apparently there is still hope. I know it will hatch later than the others but how long should I give it until I give up hope for it? I'm a little off count but it should be around day 19. It got put in the fridge yesterday. What is the latest a egg will pip that didn't get put in the fridge? Thanks

I think 'give up' day is usually day 24 or 25 for most. Good luck!
