When is she going to lay again?

OK, so i got a new barred rock yesterday. The previous owner said she laid an egg a day. She hasn't laid an egg today. My question is do hens have to get use to their new home before they lay. If so how long will it be before she lays an egg?

I got 2 Ameraucana hens from a friend about 3 months ago. They laid an egg a day at her place. They STILL have not laid a single egg yet! GRRR! So frusterating! I am looking for some answers too.
