When is the right day to do float test - day 22 ? 23 ? 25 ?

I have 8 out of 12 hatch and one pipped. Its day 22 complete and no sign of any pip on 3 of them.
They all looked ok before lock down.

I read about float test to see if the last 3 are going to hatch. But when is the right time to do it ? Day 23 ? 24 or 25 ?

I'd say day 22 to 23 is a good time. After day 23 it's unlikely you'll hatch anymore. Though it has happened to me. Once.

I did chip little piece off the aircell space and peaked. All three are dead at some point in development.
So 8 are in the brooder and 1 is in critical state in the incubator. She seem to have pipped into blood vessel
and positioned in awkward way. Not sure if its going to make it.
