When oh WHEN will these silly hens start laying?

I just bought a timer with a plug receptacle in its side and a plug that a 75 watt bulb can be screwed into. I set the timer to come on at 5 A.M. and off at 7 P.M.; that's 14 hours of light. It is off between 8 A.M. and 4 P.M.

You Know - Have Had My Chickens About 6 Wks Now; They Are 20-22 Wks Old And I Have Reached That Place Where It Is Just Fun To Have Them Around And Eggs Would Just Be 'gravy' - Hope You Have Eggs Soon; But Hope You Can Just Luv Um In Their Eggless State More! Sometimes Easier To Change My Attitude Than To Change Stuff Around Me!
