is there any particular way you arrange the eggs on the wire mesh? This is my first hatch with nine "mutt" eggs I got from a friend. Do you bunch them up like in a nest, or do you spread them out?

Thanks,
Eric

Spread them out enough to allow a little air to circulate around them. I typically put mine nearest the center of the incubator.

Yup don't lay them to close together cuz you'll start to see the eggs moving a little bit then once the chick starts to pip and start to hatch he will roll an move the egg all around bumping into the other eggs and you don't want him to bump into another egg that has pip and roll that egg on top of the pip hole

Thanks guys. I may stick them in an egg carton and not have to worry about them rolling around........
