EDIT: She's out! I posted this just before I went out to feed everyone and came back to her mostly out of the shell! I had to help remove the shell from her head as it was sticky, but she was already out of the shell otherwise.
Now to figure out where to put her when I need to leave today until she is strong enough to join the others.

I need some advice to correct my mistake. I set a few eggs in a Nurture Right 360; this is the first time I've hatched eggs in an incubator. I have had 6 healthy chicks hatch Monday night - Tuesday afternoon. There were a few that didn't hatch, so I let them stay in the incubator a while longer. By Thursday evening I had seen no progress, movement, or heard any peeping, plus they were smelling by then, so I decided they were done (you can probably see where this is going). I turned off the incubator and decided to check the eggs to see how far they've gotten. I just put enough of a hole to see inside and most appeared to be goo. So imagine my surprise when the last egg I checked cracked much easier than the others and a beak poked out and started peeping! There was also some blood, so I wrapped it in a warm, wet paper towel while I turned the incubator back on.
She's been in the incubator all night with no change. I can see her breathing, almost like she's breathing heavily, but I don't know if that's normal. At what point should I help her out of the egg if there is no progress? She is still breathing and occasionally peeping, so I've let her alone, but I do have some concerns. Does anyone know of the Nurture Right 360 will continue to run until it is manually turned off? I need to be gone part of the day and I'm afraid it might shut itself off since it's been at zero for a couple of days. The instructions say eggs can remain in the incubator for two days after hatch, but it doesn't say if it will automatically shut off at that time. Thanks.
