When should I switch to Flock Raiser feed???

My chicks are 6 wks old, when should I switch them to Flock Raiser?
I have 1 wk old chicks also so my Chick Starter will be used up by them.

I usually switch mine around 6-8 weeks so you should be ok switching them. Just make sure you switch it gradually by mixing them with the starter at first.

Ok, thank you. We have to go to TSC between tomorrow and Saturday to get a hanging water and hanging feeder for their new coop, so we will get it then.

I start chicks on Flock Raiser...I don't even bother with chick starter. I used to start them all on gamebird starter, but I can't get it anymore

I used Flock Raiser right from get go....even with the change of feed, there were no problems.

I change them over at about two months or so. Gradually mix in more Flock Raiser starting at eight weeks until all of the chick starter is gone.
