When the "Fox" in the Hen House is Your Dog

I had a "fox" in my hen house today--my new puppy!

I have a dog that looks a lot like that. Showed up as a stray last year. Very friendly and I think fairly smart under all the fuzz, but definitely NOT trustworthy around chickens. He seems to think they are the most awesome, noisy, mobile dog toys in the world. Had to fence off a "dog free" area for the chickens to have their own yard.

Know what ya mean!!! I let my young pullets out this afternoon for like the third time... Hubby came home and let the dogs out and I didnt realize it.... GRRRR Dog had one of them.. didnt hurt it but now I cant find the other 6. Hoping they will go back in when it is time to go to bed tonight... The foolish things are scared of everything... They wont even come out of the coop if someone is outside. So had to open the door and leave them alone so they would come out....
