When to call it....

Okay, it's day 24 here
i have 3 eggs in the incubator... 1 i think is pipped but dead, the other 2 seem to be duds.
should i call it? it kind of smells in there but i think it's from the poop.

when do you call the duds duds?
(BTW I hatched eggs bought from a local farm here)

Not sure what to tell you. We are on day 25 and we just had our first egg pip about an hour ago and we know another one is moving around. Not sure why the looooooong hatch. If you know they are dead, then I would get them out of the incubator and toss them ... but not sure how to tell you if they are dead or not. We thought ours were so I candled them today and as I picked up one it pipped internally and starting peeping at us. Kind of odd I guess.

i tossed them.
the incubator started to smell weird.
my mom and i cleaned it up. So now it's a brooder box for an aggressive chick for the night ( i feel bad for him because he's by himself )
