When to change from starter feed to regular feed

Is there a general age that you can switch over from starter feed to layer pellets for pullets? Is it according to the breed? I want to move some of my 3 month old pullets into my larger coop with older hens and am concerned as to when I can stop feeding them starter crumbles. They already get lots of grass clippings, comfrey and vegetable scraps.

Usually you transition around 18-20 weeks.

Thank you. I wanted to move my egg production chicks in with my old hens in a much larger coop and run. Sounds like I should hold off for a while.

I normally just feed the entire flock starter feed when I transition or when a broody hatches some eggs. And provide oyster shells for the hens during this time.
