well im on day 15th and I don't know when to raise the humidity well i do its at 18th but when. Like at the end of 17th day? or at the 18th day when i come from school at 4pm? i go to school at 8am and come back at 4pm. When should I raise it? before day 18th or when i come back from school on day 18th?????? Also i've been reading on another thread that you shouldn't take the eggs out and shake them or roll them, but what I do is take them out then turn them to the other side then put them back inside is that hurting them?? I do that for turning the eggs I do it 2 times a day at 5pm and the other one right before bed at 12am or so

you want to bring the humitdy up after you do your day 18 morning turn, i bring mine up to 50-55% and leave it alone, i watch it to make sure it stays around 50-55%, keep temps at 99.5, when they start to hatch the humitdy will go up some but do not let it get over 65%. this is the way I do mine, others will tell you different but I have 95-100 % hatch rate when i do it like i do.

Some do it different. I keep mine at about 45% normally then in the last 3 days I increase and stop turning them. I increase to about 70% or so. That works for me. The little ones need moister to aid in the hatch. Otherwise they get a thick membrane that they can not get through.

This is a sight that explains the reason for humidity increase.

ok so when i come from school at 4pm I turned the eggs just one time that day right? and then I take the vent plugs out and add some water and let it reach about 60% right? im I correct?

thats right. but did you put the eggs in before noon? need to make sure you have day 18 right, if so day 18 will before noon.

I have put my humidity up between 60 and 70% and I do this the end of the 18 day and uaually on by the 20 day my eggs are hatched. this has worked for me and all have hatched that were living yet. I keep my humidity down at the beginning around 40- 45%.

It really doesn't matter... I stopped turning and raised humidity on day 17 once because I couldn't be there day 18 and it was one of my best hatches. I've also waited until the end of day 18 to do it and turned an extra time and had fine hatches. It's not exact. Especially if your temps are off. Then they could hatch a day late or early anyway.

well i placed the eggs in the bator at 10 pm so on the calendar where it says that the eggs will be 18th days I have to wait till 10 pm or later to turn the eggs then add humidity and the leave it like that?

Just do it before you go to bed and it will be fine.
