I have a handycap chick.
i thought it was just spaddle leg but it hink it is more now.
the poor thing uses its hip joint instead of its foot on one leg.
I splinted it awhile ago and it is just getting worse.
poor chick never eats or drinks unless I keep dipping its beak
in food or water. it just sits and chirps all day and night.
it is half the size of the rest now so it has quit growing.
when the others run by it gets knocked over and takes
forever to stand back up. the hip joint is now 4 times the
size of the other one since it still wont try to use its foot on
that leg. is it time to let it go? i dont want it to keep suffering.
it has to be in pain too. which makes me feel worse.

It sounds like you have done your best. Go to the search option at the top of the screen. Search Cull and you will find threads that have alot of suggested ways to do it. Which one will depend on you. Whichever one you think is the quickest and most human.

Hard for others to tell you when it is time. So you need to decide what is best for that chick. From what you say, if it was my chick, yes I would cull.
