When to give up on eggs?

I have eggs that I started on October 7th. They are olive and BCM eggs so it's almost impossible to see through them. I think some are duds but I can't really see anything through the shell and I have any amazing flashlight. When should I throw them out or should I just wait till hatch day?

I hatched some of those, myself. Couldn't see ANYTHING candling them. I kept 'em all going until the 25th day, just in case. (Yes, 4 days past those that hatched.)

Keep em all.........unless one starts to weep and/or smell, then you'd want to take that one out for sure!!!
I've been told that a slide projector can be used for candling marans eggs, just be careful 'cause the bulb gets VERY HOT.........don't want to cook them in the shell.
