what is best timeof year to get the best hatch rates in the southern us

In the southern US I don't think it matters very much, the temps are warm all year long.

hello i am In Va i am a little confused on when to start incubating eggs. I was told not till spring , but i see people incubating and hatching now, Who live in colder climates! This our first winter with chickens we got ours mid summer, what is the survival rate if i start now?

Im incubating my second batch now. We have the first batch plus some chicks we had shipped in the brooder in our basement. After they finish getting their feathers they are going to the coop. You will be fine as long as you can keep them warm enough until they are weaned off the heat lamp.
