Hello all,
So last week was the 3rd week of incubation...Nothing hatched, so I begun to crack the eggs open to see how far along they were when they died. I had 16 eggs, I lightly tapped each of the eggs to start the process of slowly opening them to peak in, and one of them was still alive!! I didn't crack completely into the membrane, but the shell is cracked, today is full day-1, and the chick is still pecking and chirping inside the shell. When or should I interfere? Should I open the shell, or let things be?
Thank you!!
