Hi All,
At what age can you or should you introduce things like grit, diatomaceous earth, snacks like apple cores, mealworms, etc? Thanks in advance !

Generally it's best to wait until after 8-10 weeks. Chicks need to eat their starter to get what they need to grow properly.

I wouldn't use DE, it's a respiratory irritant to both people and chickens. Give your chicks a dish of sand or a clump of clean sod to pick at. They will use it as grit.

I do give scrambled eggs as a daily treat starting after the first week. It always takes 3 days before they love them. Eggs have everything a growing chick needs.

The rest can come after they are a bit older. You don't want them developing deficiencies.
