When to lockdown geese

Ok. Thank you. The first baby is all the way out of its egg and trying to walk. The incubator is pretty small for a goose and it keeps bonking its head on the top of the incubator. Hopefully we're just going to rest for most of this time and not keep hitting ourselves, but I didn't know if that was something I should be concerned about.
Egg #2 was rocking and moving a whole lot while the first baby was hatching. We haven't seen a lot of movement since then, and the pip this one made isn't as big. It's more like a small crack than a hole in the egg.
Im in the middle of a 2 egg hatch both piped thursday night they usually do look like crakes at first. The first one hatched yesterday at noon the other one is still thinking about it. each gosling will do it in its own time. This is not advice but I do usually and did remove the first baby (only way I can do egg shell gender testing) I take a soaked in warm water and put it over the incubator put my hands under the towel also so the only thing that can vacuum into the incubator is humid air. What happens when you open a incubator it creates a vacuum and sucks up all the resounding dry air its amazing how fast you can shrink wrap them since there eggs also vacuum the dry air in.

If it's necessary to open the incubator during a hatch to take out a hatchling, there are ways to increase the humidity to compensate, like having a spray bottle of warm water and spritzing the inside of the incubator quickly (taking care not to spray pipped eggs), adding a bit of warm water to the water channels, and/or putting a clean bit of sponge or paper towel on the incubator floor and adding the warm water to it.

Update: We have two healthy goslings! I feel like this hatch was far from ideal but luckily these two made it out like champs. We learned a lot and I think next time should go much more smoothly, but I'm just so thankful that these two are out alive and healthy. Thanks to everyone for your help.
