When to Mercy kill an egg bound hen?

We left for 5 days to go to a wedding, and had an automatic water and feeder in their coop.

When we got back, one of them is laying on the ground with her feet in the air twitching. She ate and drank a little when we put her in a separate box, but she can't really stand. I'm afraid she's badly egg bound, and then got physically attacked by the other hens for being sick. It looks like they scuffed her up pretty bad.

Their Coop and run was closed, so it wasn't a predator. Mostly her injuries seem to be internal. I'm worried she's egg bound past the point of no return.

We are feeding her and watering her in a separate little box, and I'm going to start up some salt baths, but when do we decide to just put her out of her pain?

Poor little thing. She's not very bright. Actually the dumbest and sweetest of the flock. I wonder if she just couldn't figure out the automatic feeder, but it wasn't obvious until now because when I'm home I supplement with scraps.
