Our first chick hatched at 6am this morning. We still have three with pips. When should we move to brooder?

Should we wait until all have dried or what?

You have at least 48 hours before that first one needs food water. I would wait till all are out and fluffy. Opening the incubator will screw up the humidity and cause hatching chicks to get stuck.

I know it is hard, but you must RESIST the tempation to open the bator.

Leave them in the bator til your hatch is finished...they need to rest and fluff out...they can live up to 3 days without food and water...they live off their yolk sacs for up to 3 days....
