When to put a heating lamp in with my chickens?!?!?!

I live in the the Southeast Texas area and I was wondering at what temperature do I need to put a heat lamp in with my girls? I have 3 Barred Rocks, 1 RIR,1 Americana/Austrolorp, and 3 Ausrolorps.

Anything would be appreciated!!

Are we talking full grown chickens? If so then they won't need a heat lamp.

In Texas? Never. Give them a coop that blocks the wind and keeps the rain off and they'll be fine. You're some of the mildest weather in the US...folks in the far north and Canada don't use heat lamps.
