First time chick owner here...We have four, about 4 weeks old. Their coop is almost done. When do they transfer out of here into their coop? Can they stay here until then? I don’t want them to be too crowded, but curious if chicks do ok with this set up until the coop? Thanks!

The sooner you can move them to the coop the better. They have already outgrown that box. My chicks start out in the coop under a Mama Heating Pad brooder. I get them between late April and early May, when it can still get into the 20s and 30s at night.

As long as the coop is big enough once it’s ready and your weather is warm enough you can move them out.
