when to put in hatcher

Today is day 17 for my banty kiki eggs. Some people think banties hatch earlier than standards. Should I put them in the hatcher tonight or do it tomorrow on day 18?

I always set my serama eggs in the hatcher at 17 days because they tend to like to hatch at day 19 or 20. I think a day early is better than a day late. I worry if I wait longer they'll have a harder time positioning for the hatch.

I keep being told that bantams hatch at 21 days like all other chickens, so I decided to wait till tonight (end of day 18) to move mine. Of course, as usual, I had one pipped shell and at least 2 more pipped in the air sac!!! I would say move them now, to avoid any problems!! That's what I will do from now on!
