When to put in the nest boxes?

The girls are about 16 weeks (I'll have to check the calendar) When should I put the nest boxes in the coop? It has been cold here, 20's daytime, and I don't want them to get in the habit of sleeping in the boxes. I have Barred Rocks and Black Sexlinks. Thanks

I'd put them in now. If you find them sleeping in them just block them off overnight but if your roosts are higher than the nest boxes it shouldn't be a problem.
