when to take my chicks out of bator

have 1 out of 16 just hatched today how long should i keep it in there?

I'd wait till day 22, then slip out the few that hatched and hold on tight for the rest! If temps were a bit low, they can go to as late as day 23, wtih a rare few lasting dill day 24. 25 is usually the end though.

The chick should be fine in there for up to 48 hrs. (Some say 72 but on the safe side I wouldnt keep him in any longer than 48)

Its best if you keep the bator closed in till they all hatch.

I put mine in Brooder day after hatch. I just have my Brooder heating up as soon as first one hatchs..they have done fine first liter and doing fine now..
