When to worm?

I have four older girls that I just wormed and plan to do it again in 14 days.

I am going to pick up 4 - 5 chicks in the next few days. I plan to keep them separated until the babies are bigger, but will eventually put them all together in one coop. When is it safe to worm chicks? I want to get rid of all worms because I have a young daughter who will be all over these babies!! I'd rather do it before any issues develop.

Chicks that haven't been outdoors yet are unlikely to have worms in the first place.
