When will chicks start drinking water?

I've raised chicks before but not from day one. My babies hatched today and I was wondering when they will start drinking water...any answers?

They told me at the feed store when I picked them up to dip each ones beak in the water to get them ''primed'' to drink ..it worked!! Good luck!

You need to take each chick and dip their beaks in the waterer.
