Thankx VerlonCox. She hasn't been around a tom since October, when Thanksgiving (the tom) died of a heart attack a few days before we wanted to butcher him. That was a late night!! So I should be getting eggs from her for a bit, then, cool.
And no offense taken on the BBB comments. These were our first turkeys, and at order time at the feedstore I didn't know that much about em. Honestly didn't know what I had gotten myself into with the BBB. She hobbles around, she had hurt her foot sometime in November. I hand feed her and nursed her through. She doesn't have much in the way of breast feathers these days, but they're growing back. She does a lot of walking. Our driveway is a hill.
