I have a flock of spoiled, loved, guineas hatched this past spring. I am expecting them to start laying this 2010 spring. Have never had guineas before, so am still learning about them. Could someone in my area tell me about when I can expect them to start laying. I live in middle Georgia, about 35 miles south of Columbus Ga. Thanks in advance for help.

May to August...generally speaking of course. I had a few lay into October.

ETA: Yours should do about the same as mine considering the warmer climate. They slow in September, and are usually done around October. Possible to start in April depending on weather conditions.

Thanks for your answers. I am looking forward to getting eggs and hatching them from my own guineas. It is very cold now but here in Georgia, spring comes early and maybe it wont be long before they start laying.
