when will my pullets start laying?

I ordered some Leghorn pullets from Ideal back in January (1-07-09 hatch) when do you guys think they will start to lay?

It can vary from chicken to chicken. I believe my Red Sex Links are now 19-20 weeks and 2 of the 4 just started to lay.

Our fall chickens, including the two leghorns started laying at about 22-24 weeks of age. At least one of our 3 new spring chickens (black sex-links) has just started laying at about 18 weeks of age. I'd say your chickens will probably start laying anwhere between 18-22 weeks of age.

Very good question, so 18-22 weeks is about average.. good info!
